Stylized-Shaders

Practice with writing HLSL shaders in Unity to learn asset rendering with stylized visuals.

“Synthetic Posterization Shader”

A twist on a non-realistic cel-shading style that utilizes texture maps and noise maps to create unique non-uniform banding effects with reduced color variations and graduation to concentrated areas.

“Distorted Water Ripple”

A semi-transparent water shader that utilizes an albeido texture to create a base for the water pattern and applies noise to to the uv coordinates to create a rippling effect animating on the water’s surface, giving the illusion of water moving with the wind.
